
Clear Lake High School’s Stevie Diaz (with ball) went off for a season-high 26 points, more than twice his season average, on Tuesday night as the Cardinals beat the Lower Lake Trojans 67-60 in a North Central League I varsity boys’ basketball game at Lakeport. Clear Lake has won two in a row and three of four since opening league play at 0-5. Lower Lake fell to 4-5 in the NCL I standings. Defending against Diaz on this play are James Clark (far left) and Hokulani Wickard, each scoring 10 points in the loss.
