CLEARLAKE >> Linda Guebert, a local author and educator, will present her debut mystery novel “The First Lie,” a story of dark family secrets in a small town on Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Redbud Library in Clearlake.
Carrie Engel’s family is keeping secrets. The more Carrie learns about the secrets, the deeper and darker the mystery gets. What’s going on? Is she in danger? Guebert will reveal more of the story to the library audience.
