Kelseyville >> The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a man found near Kelseyville on Sunday.
At approximately 10: 16 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a man laying on the ground outside of a vehicle located in an orchard in the area of Stone Drive and Scully Packing Company. Theman was determined to be dead at the scene. Investigators labeled the incident suspicious.
According to Lt. Steve Brooks in a statement to the press, the vehicle appeared to have been involved in an crash.
Law enforcement officers ask that anyone who was a witness to the incident or has information regarding what happened call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 262-2690.

Lakeport >> Police reportedly detained Nine Green after he was allegedly discovered smearing fecal matter on the District Attorney’s office on Monday morning. Police have not issued an official report as of press time.
A scanner call at approximately 11 a.m. named Green as the suspect. Green informed this paper that he had been arrested and released on bond for the incident, although that had not been confirmed.
