Clearlake >> A man is in jail on multiple charges including allegedly giving methamphetamine to two girls and sexual assault.

Clearlake police began their investigation Friday when officers were dispatched to the St. Helena Hospital, Clear Lake Emergency Room on a report of a possible sexual assault victim.

The two female juveniles told officers they had been hanging out with 51-year-old Clearlake resident Kurt Norling the prior weekend at his home on Vista Street, Sgt. Nick Bennett stated in a press statement. During that time, Norling allegedly provided the girls with methamphetamine, falsely imprisoned them in his room and committed indecent acts on one of them. Norling was arrested and booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.

Police also obtained a search warrant on his resident and Bennett stated officers found evidence supporting the information provided by the victims.
