LAKE COUNTY >> California MENTOR is recruiting people who are willing share their hearts and homes in the Lake and Mendocino County areas. Are you an empty nester who misses the whirlwind of activity in your home? Do you have an extra bedroom? If you answered is yes, you may qualify to join.
California MENTOR Family Home Agency advocates for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A comprehensive screening and matching process is utilized, which considers the interests, skills and personalities of individuals and Mentors in order to create the “perfect match.”
Comprehensive support services and training are provided for all selected mentors. Social events, like the Fall Fun Fest help Mentors feel like they are part of the team.
