Michelle Fletcher Hauprich earned a commission as Second Lieutenant in December, 2014. After serving four years as an enlisted soldier, Hauprich applied to Officer Candidate School and joined the class at Fort Benning, Georgia. She graduated second in her class out of 105 candidates, earning Distinguished Military Graduate. She was also named Distinguished Female Physical Fitness Graduate.
