Lake County >> Classes in a simplified form of tai chi will begin in March at three Lake County senior centers through a grant from the Area Agency on Aging. The classes will be available from the first of March to the end of June, at no charge to participants.
This form was developed to deal with the pain and restricted movement of arthritis, but it is equally useful for improving balance, coordination and physical energy. The movements are slow and gentle, yet invigorating.
Classes will meet twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning on March 3.
