The Middletown High School Mock Trial team, pictured, is heading to the state competition in March after winning the Lake County competition for the third year in a row. The team is currently raising funds for its two-day trip to Riverside. The total cost to send the team to the state competition is almost $6,500, according to coach Janina M. Hoskins. Anyone interested in making a tax-deductible donation can mail funds to the Lake County Office of Education and specify that the funds are for the mock trial team. The address is 1152 S.
