ROCKLIN >> The Upper Lake Junior Cougars brought home four medals from the Roseville Meat Grinder tournament last weekend in Rocklin.
Gabriella Fernandez went undefeated in the girls’ bracket for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders.
Second-place medals went to Alexis Peregrina and Mallory Henry. Aiden Dancer went 3-1 to earn a third-place medal.
Fourth-place finishes went to Donavan Fernandez and William Henry.
A handful of Junior Cougars are traveling to Reno today to participate in the Rocky Mountain Nationals.
