KELSEYVILLE >> The Lake County Milers are holding their annual Donut Run 5K on April 11. The start/finish line is Adobe Creek Packing, located at 4825 Loasa Drive in Kelseyville.
The event consists of a 5K run and walk along with a 1K and half K for children. Check-in and race-day registration begins at 7 p.m. The kids runs start at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m. The event takes place rain or shine.
The course is a fast, flat loop on paved road alongside vineyards and country fields. Proceeds support the Kelseyville High School cross country and track teams.
New this year is chip timing and technical shirts for the 5K run/walk. Entry fees are $30 for the 5K run/walk ($20 if age 19 and younger) if you register by April 4. For gender-specific shirts you must register by Sunday. Sign-up fees for the 1K or half K are $10.
The top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K run receive awards as do the top three finishers in each age division. The overall male and female winners in the 5K walk also receive awards.
The awards ceremony follows the run/walk at approximately 9:30 a.m.
