Lakeport >> The Lake County Quilt Trail (LCQT) has donated a painted 4-by-4-foot quilt block to be auctioned on March 14 at the “Party with a Purpose” event.
Lakeport Enhanced Educational Foundation (LEEF), a nonprofit, community-based organization providing financial support to education in Lakeport, hosts the annual fundraising event.
It is a catered dinner dance featuring professional musicians, a live auction, a silent auction and a balloon raffle. Donations from local businesses are the heart of the event.
The quilt block was designed, drawn and painted by volunteers of the LCQT, an agricultural and tourism project designed to promote and celebrate community pride. For more information, visitlakecountyquilttrail.com.
