
LAKE COUNTY >> Ten out of 19 players honored on the 2015 All-North Central League I boys’ basketball teams are from Lake County.
The team, as selected by the league’s eight coaches last month, includes co-MVPs, a first team, a second team and honorable mentions.
League champion Cloverdale (13-1) is represented by co-MVPs John Millan, a senior, and Marcus Poe, a junior.
The All-League first team features senior Dimitri Betts of Willits, sophomore Kyle Ellis of Kelseyville and seniors Jared Strate of Clear Lake and Anthonie Guzman of Middletown.
Second-team selections are Kelseyville senior Brandon Humber, Lower Lake freshman Hokulani Wickard, Middletown senior Cody Chorjel, Fort Bragg sophomore Lucas Triplett and Cloverdale senior Greg Scaramella.
Each team received one honorable mention. They are senior Chris Saladin of St. Helena, sophomore Jason McMillan of Cloverdale, junior Ryan Hosford of Willits, junior Kaylor Sullivan of Fort Bragg, senior Victor Fernandez of Kelseyville, senior Von Self of Middletown, senior Ryan Smith of Clear Lake and senior James Clark of Lower Lake.
The Lake County Record-Bee will release its 2015 All-Lake County team later this month.
