Food project
Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall at 4 p.m.
Sign in and be present when your name is called. One bag per household and food will be distributed until supply is gone.
Additional nonperishable canned food,grooming,household items and clothing for men,women and children will be available.
Volunteers are always appreciated. Donations of clothing are not needed at this time.

Fundraiser
Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Council is sponsoring a spaghetti/lasagna feed to benefit the Avenue of Flags on March 20 at the Bachelor Valley Grange from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Avenue of Flags Association is responsible for the care and display of more than 1,600 veterans’ burial flags. Flags are flown on Memorial Day and Veterans Day at four county cemeteries.
Dinner ticket donations cost $10 per person and are available at Country Carpets, located at 9465 Main St. in Upper Lake, or call 275-9515.
The Bachelor Valley Grange is located at 9355 Government St. in Upper Lake.
