Middletown >> Library Services of Lake County Director Christopher Veach will speak at the Middletown Luncheon Club Wednesday at the Middletown Senior Center at noon.
Veach will give a brief “History of Libraries” presentation covering the ancient world to the free public library in the United States. He will share the local history of libraries in Lake County. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.
Lunch will be served by the United Methodist Women. For $5 per person, have a lunch of lasagna, zucchini and spinach salad with strawberries. Reservations are required. Call 987-3113 or email middletownluncheonclub@gmail.com for more information or to make a reservation.
