LOWER LAKE >> Redwood Community Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the HOME program (Health Opportunities in Mothering Experiences) in Lower Lake. HOME is a perinatal drug and alcohol outpatient treatment clinic designed to support the special needs of pregnant and mothering women in working toward recovery. This program required many dedicated staff working long and hard to have the vision of HOME Perinatal Drug and Alcohol Program to be realized.

At HOME, mothers struggling with substance abuse receive treatment, build community, and nurture opportunities to build connections with their children. The HOME program is located at 16170 Main St. Suite F. Groups and treatment hours are Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are currently accepting referrals from community partners as well as self-referrals. This new service has been overwhelmingly well received.

Community support for the program has been key. The team at 2oday Furniture not only made a very generous donation of furniture, but also helped HOME to realize their vision of a warm, comfortable, and inviting sanctuary for the women and families in the program.

Various childcare items such as toys and cribs are still in need for this program and are a tax deductible donation.

For more information please contact HOME at 707-994-5486.
