Praises of Zion Baptist Church will play host two special services during Holy Week.
A service on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. The associate ministers of Praises of Zion will be the guest speakers, including Min. Kathleen McGill, Rev. Franklin Wright, Min. Christina Thomas, Min. Sherida Walker, Min. Donna Trigg, Deacon Crosetti Speight, and Rev. Pamela Wright.
On Good Friday at 6 p.m. will be the message “Seven Last Words from the Cross”. Seven Pastors from local churches will be participating in this program, led by Reverend Jonathan L. Green, senior pastor at Praises of Zion. Speaking will be Pastor Kelly Kennemer of The Promise Center, Clearlake; Pastor Paul Smith of New Hope Outreach Church, Lucerne; Pastor Chris Gravesen of Church of the Nazarene, Clearlake; Pastor Steve Snyder of First Assembly Church, Clearlake; Pastor Larry Fanning of First Baptist Church, Clearlake; Pastor Mitch Rodgers of Harvest Fellowship Church, Clearlake; Pastor Charles Thomas of Rock of Faith Church, Lucerne.
