LOWER LAKE >> Ethan Watson went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs as the Lower Lake High School junior varsity baseball team clobbered the Cloverdale Eagles 11-1 in six innings during North Central League I action Friday in Lower Lake.
Bryan Fonseca combined with Eric Graves on a one-hitter as the Trojans improved to a league-best 4-0 and 6-3 overall. Fonseca went the first 3 2/3 innings for the win. He allowed Cloverdale’s only hit and run, struck out seven and walked six. Eric Graves finished up, blanking the Eagles over the final 2 1/3 innings while striking out three and walking none.
Sean McCarthy went 2-for-4 for the Trojans.
Lower Lake plays at Willits on Tuesday and returns home Friday to face Kelseyville. Both games start at 4 p.m.
