Lake County >> The first hike of Spring up Mount Konocti is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The hike is being operated by Lake County Parks & Recreation department and will be led by Val Nixon and Mike Riley. Currently, 12 people have signed up for this first hike, with room for 13 more. Hikers will meet in the main parking area of the park, about 3 miles past the end of the paved portion of Konocti Road in Kelseyville. The hike is expected to take approximately 4 hours.
