The Lake County Strikers and Lake County Thundercats struck gold recently at the Northern California Special Olympics Basketball Tournament in Windsor, both teams going undefeated. Lake County skill players also won six gold medals and one silver in individual competitions. The trip to Windsor as well as Lake County Special Olympics participation in other events is made possible because of Lake County’s support of the Polar Plunge fundraiser.
