Benji Pimentel, age 4, was giddy as he tried on firefighter turnout gear during the 3rd Annual South Lake County Fire Protection Dist. Open House. The event was held Saturday at South Lake County Fire Station 60 in Middletown and featured fire engine rides, REACH helicopter tours, a bounce house, face painting and fire safety education. Firefighters also hosted CRP training and a live smoke crawl. All proceeds from the event went to Relay for Life. More photos on A12.
