The next Friday Night Shabbat Service of the Beit Chavurah congregation will be held on April 24 at 7 p.m. at Lower Lake Methodist Church. This special meeting will celebrate the observance of Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Rememberance Day, along with several Yahrzeits.
It is very important to the Jewish tradition to remember Yahrzeits. If a close relative has passed away this year (or even in past years), send the information to Rabbi Altman. He needs the person’s name, the date of death (as close as you can come), and his/her relationship to you.
