A successful Job Fair was held recently at the Mendocino Community College that brought together over 30 local employers to meet potential new employees. The interest from employers has increased from the previous job fairs. These employers represent even more jobs than last year’s events.
The next Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 24 at the Yuba College, Clearlake Campus located at 15880 Dam Road, near Walmart.
With the Summer Season upon us, job demand is on the rise. Job Seekers are encouraged to attend this event and learn what jobs are available in Lake County. Come dressed for success and ready to meet employers who are looking for enthusiastic applicants prepared to work.

Mendocino and Yuba Colleges have agreed to host this year’s job fairs in partnership with WorkforceLake. Workforcelake, a partnership of A Working Connection (MPIC), EDD, Department of Rehabilitation, CHD, LCOE are located at 55 First Street, Lakeport and 14092 Lakeshore Drive, Clearlake. These agencies provides assistance to job seekers with resumes’, interview skills, career exploration, occupational training, On-the-Job Training and much more.
