Hidden Valley Lake >> The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and Lake County Search and Rescue are currently conducting a search for 48-year-old Stephen Christopher Carter.
LCSO deputies responded to a report of a missing person at about 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, Lt. Steve Brooks stated. Family members said they last heard from Carter on Friday just after 6 p.m. when he sent a text message.
Authorities are searching the area believed to be Carter’s last known location. He is described as being 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Carter, they are asked immediately contact the LCSO at 707-263-2690.
