Clearlake >> A man charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon after an incident last month surrendered himself to law enforcement on Monday.
Clearlake Oaks resident Tyler Koho, 27, was identified as one of two suspects involved in a shooting at a home on the 4000 block of Old Highway 53 in Clearlake on March 11, according to Clearlake Police Department (CPD) Sgt. Nick Bennett.
Initial reports indicated officers were dispatched to the scene at about 9:32 p.m. and found a 20-year-old victim on the front porch with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Another victim who sustained a gunshot wound to the facial area was later identified. Both have since been released from the hospital.
Based on the investigation, warrants were issued for Koho and the second suspect, 41-year-old Clearlake resident Charles Lamont. Both men were charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with a bail set at $1 million each, Bennett stated.
Koho as a result of arrangements made by his attorney and Clearlake detectives surrendered himself into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
The warrant on suspect Lamont is still outstanding and Lamont is considered to be armed and dangerous as he is aware of the outstanding warrant.
