On April 10, the whole school of Carlé took a trip to Santa Rosa Junior College to look at the campus and see what classes the college has to offer. Several students commented they thought the campus was beautiful with lots of trees. Principal Strahl said, “Everyone had a great time; a few students are even going to take a few courses.”
Last week Carlé started a new grading period and gold level and sustainability award recipients for the previous grading period were announced.

On April 15, Carlé started the “Be Fresh” lunch program. Carlé would like to thank Sherri Boelter and Jacque Febler for once again bringing this wonderful, healthy and delicious program to our students.
Also that day, students Alyssa Goepfert and Aneesa Lopez presented their portfolios. These two have been some of the hardest working students at our school this year and have stayed focused on graduating. They have both achieved this goal and Carlé would like to congratulate them.
Additionally on the 15th, the student government held a meeting where we discussed prom and new lunchtime activities.
Carlé introduced four new students this week: Angela Krebs, Jordan Shaffer, Sabrina Rinoldi and Nick Strickland. We welcome them all and hope they enjoy the “Carlé Way”.
On April 24, Carlé will be holding a 6-on-6 tug of war competition. Also, Principal Strahl will take students who have 100 percent attendance out to lunch to The Spot in Clearlake.
