Lake County >> Sharon Dawson, creator of the project The Wave of Hope, received a $500 donation for a second wave from the Konocti Lioness Club at the group’s April 16 meeting.
The Wave of Hope consisted of 20 photographs and stories of people who had gone through emotional crisis and had contemplated suicide.
At the April 16 meeting of the Konocti Lioness Club, Dawson the donation, which will help the program continue. The project has reached out to people to let them know that they are not alone and there is help.
