Lower Lake >> The Lake County Democratic Central Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on May 7 at the Lower Lake Methodist Church Community Meeting Room, at 16255 Second St. in Lower Lake at 6:30 p.m.
The guest speaker for the meeting will be Monica Rosenthal. She is a candidate for the Lake County Board of Supervisors for District 1, which includes the communities of Hidden Valley Lake, Middletown, Lower Lake, Anderson Springs and portions of Cobb and the City of Clearlake.
The agenda includes reports from representatives for Congressmen Mike Thompson and John Garamendi, Assemblyman Bill Dodd and State Senator Mike McGuire, as well as reports from representatives from the Stonewall Democratic Club and the Lake County Democratic Club.
Meetings are open to the public and committee membership is open to all registered Democrats.
The Lake County Democratic Central Committee is the official governing body of the Democratic Party in Lake County.
