Get ready, get set, to go to “Shake It”, the Lake County Arts Council’s energetic 34th Annual Spring Dance Festival at the Soper Reese Theatre on Saturday, May 2 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m.. The variety of talent and levels of dance expertise continue to escalate and make this a not to be missed performance. From Hip Hop to Clogging, belly dancing, and the African beat, while still including classical forms of dance in ballet, tap, toe, modern dance and theatrical/vocal routines, more than 150 dancers will hit the stage with high energy.
Tickets are available at the Theatre box office located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport or at www.soperreesetheatre.com and at the Travel Center located at Shoreline Plaza in Lakeport. Ticket prices are $10 for students under 12, $20 for assigned lodge seating and $15 for side lodge seating.
