VALLEJO >> Middletown High School’s Chasen Tom and Riley Adams did not make the cut for the Tournament of Champions after playing in the North Coast Section Championships on Monday at the Blue Rock Springs Golf Club West Course in Vallejo.
Competing as at-large golfers in the Division II field, Tom fired a 79 on the par-71 course while Adams carded an 81. It took a 75 to advance to next week’s Tournament of Champions.
William Bednarz of Marin Academy shot the day’s low round, a 72.
The Tournament of Champions takes place this Monday at Monarch Bay Golf Course in San Leandro.
