UPPER LAKE >> The 25th annual Harville Beef Barbecue, a fundraiser for Upper Lake High School athletics, takes place May 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Boathouse in Nice.
A full tri-tip dinner will be served. The cost is $14 for adults and $7 for youngsters age 12 and younger.
There also will be raffle prizes of A’s and Giants tickets, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk passes, local wine and gift certificates. Raffle tickets cost $5 and you do not need to be present to win.
Tickets to the dinner and for the raffle can be purchased at the event or from any Upper Lake High School athlete.
