Kelseyville’s Riley Goff got trapped between second and third during a North Central League I softball game last week against Clear Lake in Kelseyville, but the fleet-footed sophomore was able to escape a brief rundown and make it safely back to second base despite the best efforts of Clear Lake shortstop Aliza Atkins and second baseman Emily Psalmonds. Kelseyville is home today against Willits at 4 p.m. to close out its season schedule. Clear Lake hits the road today to play Fort Bragg, needing a win to remain atop the North Central League I standings. The Cardinals are working on a 10-game league winning streak.
