To make things safer

In listening to many friends who are sportsmen and collectors, it seems the biggest reason for not improving the laws pertaining to better and safer rules regarding guns is the fact that when a new rule to bring more safety to this nation’s citizens there are the huge costs and fees added each time.

Would it not be in the best interest of the nation to waive any and all fees to bring safeguards to this issue? Remember, the goal is to lower the death rate from the use of guns in a violent way. We have no problem in giving the Farming and Manufacturing industries tax breaks and Corp. welfare programs, why not do the same for gun owners, if this would bring better support for stronger gun ownership rules that would lower the daily killing on our streets.

I am sure we the taxpayers can afford and support such a change. Instead of battling with each other, makes more sense to smooth out the road of acceptance to a better system. If we do, it can be a win-win situation. Putting a huge tax on those gun manufacture and retail sales outlets who sell military type weapons to the general public would also be a help.
