If the Lower Lake Trojans are going to stay in the race for the North Central League I softball title, they’ll need a big game today from senior pitcher Shelbie Harris (above) and a victory in Cloverdale against the Eagles, who beat Lower Lake 5-1 on April 28 in Lower Lake. Lower Lake brings a 9-2 league record into play against 10-1 Cloverdale, the two-time defending NCL I champion. It’s a big week for the Trojans, who travel to Lakeport on Friday to take on Clear Lake (11-1). They need to win their final three games to grab some share of the NCL I crown.
