ATP application
Middletown >> The next meeting of the Lake County Transit Authority (LTA) Board of Directors will be held on Wednesday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the South Lake County Fire Protection District located at 21095 California Highway 175.
Immediately following the LTA meeting, the Lake County/City Area Planning Council (APC) Board will meet. The meeting will include a tour of the Active Transportation Multi-Use Trail ATP Application (from Rancheria Avenue to Central Park Road). Attendees are requested to wear comfortable walking shoes. A light meal will be served following the meeting and prior to the project tour.
Dollar General permit
Middletown >> The next regular meeting of the Middletown Area Town Hall will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the Middletown Community Center Activity Room. Agenda items include discussion of the Dollar General Major Use Permit Application and the May 16 Chili Cook Off. Meetings are open to the public.
Chamber dinner
Cobb >> The Lake County Chamber of Commerce will host their May Dinner Meeting at the Village Pub beginning at 5:30 p.m. on May 20. Dinner is $30 per person and includes chips and salsa, chili verde with tortillas, sour cream chicken enchiladas, chili relleno casserole, Spanish rice and refried beans, with mini cheesecake and coffee for dessert. A special presentation will be given during dinner. Anyone donating a raffle prize will have an opportunity to speak about their business. For information, contact the chamber at 263-5092.
