Lake County >> Friends and Family Productions is seeking activities for youth, crafts, food, nonprofits, volunteers and sponsors for the “Rock On!” concert June 13 — a family friendly, one day music festival at Jellystone Park on Cobb. This initial concert will feature four local rock bands: The Fargo Brothers, Johnny Tsunami & The Hurricanes, Beatz Werkin’ and Hilarie & Milton. Future concerts will focus on other music genres.

The June 13 concert is being billed as a “fun community-building event” planned in partnership with the Time Bank of Thrive Lake County. Time Bank members exchange time instead of cash for services. Membership is open to any Lake County resident, business, or organization. Time Bank members are assisting with planning, supervising, staffing and as vendors at the concert. Assistance with the event will earn Time Bank credits. Vendors will be able to pay booth fees by using their Time Bank credits. Time Bank members will be able to use their Time Bank credits to pay ticket fees and purchase some items from Time Bank vendors. Also, Time Bank members can promote their business as a Sponsor by using their Time Bank credits. If you would like to join the Time Bank before the concert, you can sign up online and obtain more information at timebanklakeco.org.

Tickets are $15 at the entrance, or 2 Time Bank credits. Children 12 and under are free. Advance tickets for $13 can be purchased at Jellystone Park, The SPOT Juice Bar in Middletown, Watershed Books in Lakeport, and Sphynx Urban Clothing in Clearlake.
