Lakeport >> The city will celebrate the installation of new docks and lighting at Library Park on Thursday.
The docks are located between the First and Third streets launch ramps. The event will open at 5 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
The first 200 people who attend will get a free hot dog. The Lakeport Main Street Association will have beer and wine for sale.
Bring lawn chair or blanket and a picnic and stay after the ribbon cutting to listen to the LC Diamonds.
