Lakeport >> The City of Lakeport, with additional sponsorship by Lakeport Main Street Association and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at Library park on Thursday celebrating the installation of new boat docks and lighting, the latter of which were donated by the Lakeport Rotary Club.
The docks are located between the First and Third Street launch ramps. The event will open at 5 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. The first 200 people who attend will get a free hot dog.
The Lakeport Main Street Association will have beer and wine for sale. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and a picnic and stay after the ribbon cutting to listen to the sounds of the LC Diamonds.
