Kelseyville >> The Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association will host a Native American Technology demonstration and discussion on Saturday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at the Clear Lake State Park Visitor Center. United States Forest Service archaeologists Barbara White and Curtis Fair from the Mendocino National Forest will be discussing and demonstrating stone tool manufacturing, commonly referred to as flint knapping, as well as bead making.
Additionally the park visitor center will be open for the weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with games as well as drawings for gift shop items.
Clear Lake State Park is located at 5300 Soda Bay Rd., Kelseyville and entry into the park is free for those attending the Native American Technology Demonstration.
