Lakeport >> On Thursday, June 4, 11-year solar industry veteran and Sunpower Energy Consultant Robin Harp will host a presentation on solar energy, including information about PG&E ending solar net-metering, otherwise known as “spinning the meter backwards” which pays for the cost of a solar investment. The meeting will be held at the Lakeport Yacht Club Community Building at 6 p.m.
Also to be discussed is the upcoming end to the Federal 30 percent credit program. Lakeport homeowner and solar customer Bill Kenner will also share his experience and financial success as a Sunpower investor.
There is no cost to attend the event, and pizza will be served.
The Lakeport Yacht Club Community Building is located at 15 5th St. in Lakeport.
