LAKEPORT >> The Clear Lake High School varsity girls’ soccer team is hosting its 18th annual soccer camp for boys and girls ages 5-14 of all experience levels on June 15-18 on the fields behind the Clear Lake High School gym in Lakeport.
Four-year-olds will be accepted on parental request. Camp hours all four days are 9 a.m. until noon. The sign-up fee of $60 includes a camp T-shirt. There is a $5 family discount if two or more campers from the same family register. An additional early bird discount is available if you sign up at the Clear Lake High School office before the first day of camp.
Camp instruction is provided by varsity coaches Alice Holmes and Paul Larrea and junior varsity coach Tommy Burke. They will be assisted by guest coaches and members of the Clear Lake High School soccer team.
The camp emphasizes basic soccer skills, offensive and defensive team play as well as team concepts. There will be various contests, individual awards, snacks and game play each day.
Registration forms are available at the Clear Lake High School office. You can also sign up on the first day of camp. All proceeds benefit Clear Lake’s girls’ soccer program.
