Lakeport >> A donation bowl has been set up by the registers inside the Lakeport McDonald’s to aid the family of Francesca Rose Schetter of Lakeport.
Schetter, also known as Franny Krueger, 19, was killed in a motor vehicle crash about 11 p.m. on May 22. According to police reports, Schetter sustained major injuries during the incident and was pronounced dead at Sutter Lakeside Hospital.
The donations drop was set up anonymously, according to McDonald’s employees, and any money donated will be given to Schetter’s family once the bowl is full to aid in funeral expenses.
A candlelight vigil for Schetter has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 3 at Library Park. Candles will be provided, but you may bring your own. Attendees are invited to share their stories and memories of Schetter with her friends and family.
