A firefighters attacks flames after a grass fire started along Spruce Grove Road near Lower Lake on Saturday evening. Crews from the Lake County Fire Protection District and CalFire responded to the blaze, which began shortly before 8 p.m. They acted quickly, containing the burned area to little more than half an acre.
