Lower Lake >> Both the Lake Transit Authority (LTA) and the Lake County/City Area Planning Council (APC) will discuss and consider adopting their 2015-2016 fiscal year budgets Wednesday, June 10 at the Lamkin-Sanchez Transit Center.

The LTA, beginning at 9 a.m., will also consider the adoption of a Transit Development Plan and Marketing Plan for the year, set a date for a public hearing to receive input on proposed service reductions, review the 2014-2015 Third Quarter Operating Statistics and Financial Summary Report, and receive the Transit Manager’s Report and the Paratransit Services Report.

The APC meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., or after the LTA meeting adjourns, whichever occurs second. Also included on its agenda are several resolutions for the allocation of funds to the LTA, consideration of a contract renewal with Mark Wall, LTA’s current transit manager, and discuss and potentially approve the final version of the 2015-2016 Overall Work Program. Multiple other small items will also be discussed.

The Lamkin-Sanchez Transit Center is located at 9240 Highway 53 in Lower Lake.
