Finley >> Three deserving Class of 2015 Lake County high school seniors received scholarships totaling $2,000 from Big Valley Grange (BVG) this week.

Crystal Beavers of Upper Lake High School received the Winona Toffoli technical agriculture scholarship for $500. Crystal leaves for Sacramento soon to start her studies at Universal Technical Institute as a diesel mechanic.

Zoe Lynch, Kelseyville High School, received the Virginia Sills agriculture scholarship for $750. Zoe will pursue Equine Studies at Feather River College, in Quincy, California, a public college offering agriculture programs.

Bailey Roberts, Kelseyville High School, received the Ruby Glebe agriculture scholarship for $750. Bailey will study Equine and Ranch Management at Feather River College.

BVG will begin fundraising for scholarships for the Class of 2016 at the BVG Scholarship Fundraising Rummage Sale, to be held on June 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the BVG parking lot, at 1510 Big Valley Road in Finley.
