Grace Parker was born on June 12, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the ninth, and the last child to be born to her parents. Parker herself was the mother to eight children, four of whom are still living. She has numerous grandchildren, great-, and great-great-grandchildren. Parker worked as a waitress then as a housekeeper many years and has been an avid book reader. She resided in Richmond, California before moving to Lake County and has been a resident for about 10 and a half years at Rocky Point Care Center 625 16th St. in Lakeport.
