Consent agenda:

Lakeport >> The agenda for the Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) looks to be packed for the Tuesday, June 16 meeting, with 25 consent agenda items, nine timed, nine non-timed. In addition, there are four items on the closed agenda.

First among the timed items at 9:15 a.m. is a second reading of a consideration of an ordinance that would allow a Community Power Choice Aggregation as an electrical power option for unincorporated areas of the county. The company involved is offering lower rates than PG&E with reimbursements of some of those rates going into county coffers.

The next several timed items, scheduled from 9:30 to 9:40, are nuisance abatement hearings on properties in Lucerne and Whispering Pines, totaling more than $25,000.

The 9:45 item is a consideration of an appeal by Pest Master Services of recommended contract awarded to Clean Lakes, Inc., and also a contract for 2015 Aquatic Vegetation Management Program between the County of Lake and Clean Lakes Inc., in the amount of $209,116.67.

A request to the county to aid in preventing real estate and mortgage fraud is slated at 10.

The final item on the timed agenda, scheduled for 11:30, is the BOS consideration of the recommended budget for the next fiscal year, along with a consideration of a proposed resolution establishing position allocations to conform to the new recommended budget, and the consideration of requests for authorization to purchase capital assets and fill positions prior to final adoption of the budget.
