Lakeport >> Before the Lakeport City Council for the Tuesday, June 16, meeting are application approvals for the Lakeport Main Street Association’s “Taste of Lakeport” and “Trick or Treat Main Street” events, to be held later this year.
The council will also the application for the Lakeport Yacht Club’s annual “Cardboard and Duct Tape Regatta” scheduled for Independence Day, July 4, in Library Park.
The council will hear an appeal from Nancy L. Ruzicka, trustee of the Ruzicka Family Trust, to the Lakeport Planning Commission’s approval of a 72-foot high “monopine” cell phone tower, to be erected at 1875 N. High St. The project was approved by the commission on May 13.
Also for the city council to approve is the purchase of a “card lock system” from Petro Tech in the amount of $30,875, and authorize the City Manager to sign the sales contract.
The city may elect to adopt the proposed resolution continuing the declaration of a Stage 1 water emergency and implementing further water conservation measures as mandated by the State Water Resources Control Board.
The will also consider approving the proposed resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to the California State Department of Housing and Community Development for funding under the HOME Investment Partnership Program.
They will decide whether or not to authorize the city manager or her designee to execute a contract with Pavement Engineering, Inc., to provide engineering services for design of the Bevins Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
The last item on the agenda for consideration is the adoption of a resolution approving the recommended budget for the City of Lakeport and its component units, authorization for the city manager to expend the appropriations found therein, and adopting a resolution approving the appropriations limit of $10,872,913 for the next fiscal year.
