KELSEYVILLE >> Kelseyville High School and Sonoma State are teaming up once again this year to host a volleyball camp July 27-30 for players entering the fifth through 12th grades in the fall.

Camp A for girls entering the fifth through eighth grades meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each of the four days of the camp. Check-in time is 11:15 a.m. Players signing up by July 1 pay $80 and those signing up after pay $90.

Camp B for girls entering the ninth through 12th grades meets from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each of the four days of the camp.

Check-in time for the morning session is 8:45 a.m. and check-in time for the afternoon session is 1:45 p.m.

Players signing up by July 1 pay $110 and those signing up after pay $120.

Sonoma State volleyball coach Bear Grassl leads the camp and will be assisted by Kelseyville High School’s coaching staff.

Players will learn overhand and underhand passing, spiking, blocking, serving, individual and team offense and individual and team defense.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 24 athletes in each group will be accepted.

There will be registration at the door the first day of camp provided space is available.

A parental release and indemnity form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
