Berenice Quirino — Lake County PublishingWind picks up smoke from a wildland fire visible from Highway 29 in Kelseyville Tuesday afternoon. Scanner calls for the fire came in at about 3:30 p.m. It was contained about three hours later, but fire crews from multiple agencies remained on the scene into the evening for cleanup. Initial reports estimated about 100 acres of wildland burned, as well as two power poles, prompting a response from PG&E. CHP was also called to the scene for traffic control due to heavy smoke in the area. Information will be updated as it becomes available. See more photos on Page A2.
