UKIAH >> The Taco Bell bombers joined the Jammers, Stahl Racing modifieds, Pro-4s and Legends cars on the racing card last weekend at the Ukiah Speedway.

Legends

Jeremy Doss swept the competition away in the Legends division, including a fast time of 14.405 seconds, a win in the heat race over Bill Kistenmacher, Rob Alberigi and Steven Sprague, and a main event victory in front of Kistenmacher, Alberigi and Sprague.

Pro-4s

Drivers spread around the wealth in the Pro-4 division where Ian Elliott set the fast time at 13.935, Jimmy Sorrels won the trophy dash and the second heat race, and Jimmy Badeker topped the field in the first heat race. The main event went to Scott Brown over Badeker, Sorrels, Codi Barba and Elliott.

Jr. Jammers

It was a clean sweep for Roy Ingalls Jr. in the Jr. Jammers division. He not only was the fast qualifier (16.521), but he went on to win the heat race in front of Brandi Robertson and Steven Sprague, and the main event ahead of Sprague and Robertson.

Pro Jammers

Jeremia Gamble set the fast time (15.493) in the Pro Jammers class but it was Kody Hubert winning both the heat race and the main event. In the feature race, Hubert crossed the finish line in front of David Roberts, Justin Moran, Gamble and Gene Odell Sr.

Stahl Racing modifieds

Darrin Knight posted the fast time of 13.241 in the Stahl Racing modifieds division. Darin Sullivan took home the win in the trophy dash while heat victories went to Mike Neilsen and Eric Johnson. In the main event, Mike Collins took the checkered flag in front of Neilsen, Knight, Charlie Collins and Dustin Knight.

Taco Bell bombers

Denny Cashada’s fast time of 14.694 set a Ukiah Speedway record in the Taco Bell bombers division. Heat winners were Kevin Coburn and Dustin Kuhl. Kuhl went on to win the main event in front of Cashada, Casey Blocher, Bradley Brackett and Kevin Coburn.

Racing action resumes Saturday night at the Lakeport Speedway with points race No. 11. The racing card includes bombers, Jammers, the Budweiser Outlaws and mini-stocks.

Upcoming events at Lakeport include the Deake Lyndall Memorial Race on July 3-4 with bombers, Jammers, Outlaws, Legends cars and hardtops running on July 3, and bombers, Jammers, mini-stocks midgets, vintage midgets and hardtops running on July 4. There will be fireworks both nights.
